I have a Netgear NIghthawk router/AP and numerous gigabit switches all tied together with Cat6 cable in my network. When I plug in your devices (HDbitExt) it causes my wifi (both 2g & 5g) to go down. Why? If you tell me it works better with dedicated switches, that defeats the whole purpose of not running more cat6 cable over my property. The video quality I'm getting with your equipment is great.... but why does a wired device take out my wireless device?

Our devices constantly broadcast signals and it can flood the traffic. When this happens, the wifi router is the first to be affected. Because of the broadcasting nature, we recommend dedicated Gigabit switches or contain our devices in a VLAN to isolate the traffic. Unfortunately, there's no workaround. In your case, please check if VLAN creation is possible with your router.
